Transforming Sports Nutrition E-Commerce Through Clarity, Trust, and Engagement

The Challenge
Fast&Up had strong brand recognition in India's sports nutrition market but a digital experience that didn't match the quality of their products. Potential customers landed on product pages and left without converting — either confused by ingredient claims, uncertain about which product fit their goal, or frustrated by the checkout process.
Our Approach
Tequity ran conversion research to identify where users were dropping off and why. We found three core issues: product pages didn't tell a compelling enough story about benefits for a non-expert audience, trust signals were weak for first-time buyers, and the mobile checkout had too much friction.
We redesigned the full product page template with goal-based storytelling ("for endurance," "for muscle recovery"), clearer ingredient breakdowns, athlete testimonials, and a persistent "add to cart" experience. The checkout was streamlined to reduce form fields and surface trust signals (certifications, reviews) at the moment of payment hesitation.
The Results
Conversion rates improved meaningfully after launch, with the biggest gains on mobile — where most Fast&Up traffic originates. Bundling recommendations on product pages increased average order value, and the clearer product storytelling reduced support queries about ingredient compatibility.
